Job Description:
As a member of the Android engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining payment experiences for our users. You will work on frameworks and platforms to help other teams easily integrate with our P2P payment workflows. Collaboration is key as you will work with Community’s Product, Design, Data, Server, and QA teams to implement the latest industry standards in support of the Community team’s product vision. Key Responsibilities:

Develop end-to-end app features, including networking, persistence, business logic, and UI

Create well-tested, maintainable, and durable code

Innovate Android technology and open source IT

Re-architect legacy code to prepare for future product and team scaling

Collaborate with iOS and backend developers to deliver exceptional solutions

Have a significant impact on the future of our payment product
Qualifications:

7+ years of Android development experience
-
Proven track record of crafting readable, well-crafted, and maintainable code
-
Ability to provide customer feedback to influence product solutions
-
Committed to continuous improvement of yourself, your teammates, and your software
-
Experience with Kotlin, including multi-platform with Zipline & Treehouse, unit tests, snapshot tests, Compose, Coroutines, Molecule, SQLDelight, Retrofit, OkHttp, Wire, Moshi, Okio, Picasso, and KotlinPoet

Familiarity with buffers
